Deputy Director

Working at Thrive by Design is real heart work for me.  It’s an opportunity to bring my many years of experience to a team that works tirelessly to have an impact on the equitable access to health and care. 

Within the team I take a lead on a mix of areas from looking after our business operations to managing our project management and support function, helping line managers navigate the NHS system and acting as the wellbeing consciousness of the team. 

During my career I have moved around the private sector, spent a couple of years working in further education and have run my own holistic practices.  I joined Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust in 2006 and spent the first 10 years working within Health Informatics and IT, covering roles across project management and business analysis.  I left that service as Head of Applications to move to what is now Thrive by Design in 2017.  

Outside of work I’m a keen natural historian and spend as much time as I can in the great outdoors.  Whilst I’ve hung my hat up on my private practice (for now), I still hold a special interest for all things holistic healing and practice Reiki daily.
